Care
Here is a small watch list, so you can enjoy your jewelry for a long time
All of our jewelry is made of sterling silver or stainless steel and plated with a thick layer of 18-24 karat gold. We want you to love and wear your jewelry from Nuartwear for years to come. To keep it looking fantastic, here are some care tips:
CONTACT WITH WATER AND CHEMICALS
If you frequently expose your jewelry to water and chemicals, it can affect the longevity of the shine and gold plating. The coating may eventually peel off, revealing the underlying material. Rings are especially vulnerable because they are more exposed. To prevent this, we recommend that you first apply makeup, perfume, body spray and/or lotion, wait a few minutes for it to absorb, and then put on your jewelry. Believe us when we say that we wear jewelry professionally all day, every day - but we strongly recommend that you take off your jewelry if you come in contact with water or reapply any of the above chemicals.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Remember to clean your jewelry occasionally. We recommend gently rubbing the surface with a soft and dry 100% cotton cloth. This will restore the shine of your jewelry. You can also use some lukewarm water and a little soap/detergent and gently clean the jewelry. Don't use polish or anything like that - especially important with gold plated jewelry. And your jewelry will stay happy if you store it separately to avoid scratches from your other pieces. Just keep it in your original packaging or in an airtight container.
